Your privacy is our top priority. KasaDefterim is designed to keep your financial data on your device. We do not operate servers, we do not sell data, and we do not run ads.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how KasaDefterim ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our iOS application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Application Purpose
KasaDefterim is a personal finance and cash book application designed to help individuals and small businesses manage:
- Income and expense records
- Multiple accounts and wallets
- Suppliers, debts, and payments
- Loans and installment tracking
- Monthly budgets by category
- Recurring transactions
- Receipt scanning (OCR)
- Shared financial books (for family or business partners)
3. Information We Collect
KasaDefterim does not require account creation and does not collect personally identifiable information automatically. The App only stores data that you voluntarily enter, including:
- Transaction details (amount, category, description, date, payment method)
- Account names and balances
- Supplier names, phone numbers, and debt records
- Loan information and payment history
- Budget limits and categories
- Notes, tags, and comments
- Receipt images (if you choose to attach them)
- Language, currency, and theme preferences
We do not collect:
- Your name, email, phone number, or address
- Device identifiers for tracking
- Location data
- Contacts or other on-device data
- Analytics or usage telemetry
4. How We Store Your Data
All your financial data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure Keychain and local storage APIs. We do not operate any servers, and your data is never uploaded to us.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is synchronized across your own Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, and is accessible only through your Apple ID. We never have access to your iCloud data.
Biometric Protection
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID lock, biometric verification is handled entirely by Apple's Local Authentication framework. No biometric data is ever transmitted or stored by KasaDefterim.
5. Receipt Scanning (OCR)
The receipt scanning feature uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to extract text from receipt images. OCR is performed entirely on your device — images and text are never sent to external servers. Scanned receipts are stored locally with your transaction records.
6. Third-Party Services
KasaDefterim uses only Apple-provided services:
- Apple iCloud / CloudKit — Optional cross-device sync
- Apple StoreKit — In-app purchases for Premium features
- Apple Vision — On-device OCR for receipt scanning
- Apple Local Authentication — Face ID / Touch ID
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash reporters that send data off-device, or marketing SDKs.
7. In-App Purchases
KasaDefterim offers optional Premium subscriptions (monthly, yearly, and lifetime). Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials. Purchase receipts are verified securely through Apple's StoreKit.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with anyone. Period.
If you choose to use the Shared Books feature, data sharing occurs only between you and the members you explicitly invite, through Apple's CloudKit sharing infrastructure. KasaDefterim does not act as an intermediary.
9. Your Rights and Control
You have complete control over your data. You can:
- View, edit, or delete any transaction, account, or record at any time
- Export all your data as PDF, Excel, or backup files
- Disable iCloud sync from Settings
- Delete all app data from within Settings
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
10. Data Retention
Your data remains on your device (and optionally in your iCloud account) for as long as you keep the app installed. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. iCloud data can be removed through your Apple ID settings.
11. Children's Privacy
KasaDefterim is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will advise.
12. International Users
KasaDefterim is available in 16 languages and supports 41 currencies worldwide. Since data is stored on your device, it is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside. iCloud sync is governed by Apple's privacy terms.
13. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data:
- All sensitive data is stored in Apple's encrypted Keychain
- Optional biometric lock (Face ID / Touch ID)
- iCloud sync uses Apple's end-to-end encryption where applicable
- No data leaves your device without your explicit action
However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to enable Face ID or Touch ID protection within the app.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Significant changes will be communicated through an in-app notice.
